I have spent a lot of my life mourning. Yet, it was in my mourning and lamenting that I discovered something so powerful. I discovered that even in the midst of pain God does carry us. [/custom_blockquote]

“What a healing Jesus, I’ve found in you. What a healing Jesus, to restore, refresh and renew. What a healing Jesus for such a time as this. Arise on healing wings, son of righteousness.”
In that moment, all the prayers we prayed for healing were answered. My daughter just smiled and said “She’s better.” And that she was. See a day later as we walked out of church, I received a call from my niece that my sister died. It was a flood of emotions. Amongst them was sadness of course, but relief and joy. I realized that Jesus had met us in that place. In that time. My sister had received her complete healing. She found her “healing wings”
No matter how many times since then that I’ve walked the path of grief, I’m always reminded of that moment we experienced. Healing doesn’t always mean that a person is miraculously cured. The other side to this is that just because we don’t get the answer we prayed for doesn’t mean that God wasn’t there.
