The diagnosis of Lyme disease brought me to my knees. The battle taught me more about Jesus than anything else ever has. God healing me set my faith on fire.
The Journey
1980 Something
I grew up in Orange, Texas, a small town bordering Louisiana. I’m the oldest of three sisters, born to the owners of the local camera store and dance studio.
1998
At age 20, I met a Welsh pastor. Sam came to TX. to write his dissertation and planned to return to the UK at summer’s end. We got engaged after only four dates. Five months later, we tied the knot. As a relatively new Christian, I was thrown into the whirlwind of being a pastor’s wife.
The Journey Continues
Now, almost three decades later, we have served together at five churches, lived in three states, and had three amazing children (a grandchild on the way), plus too many pets to count.
2023
I found a love for writing many years ago, but my battle with Lyme disease stirred me to put this love into practice. When I found myself in a place with Lyme that I had to be 100% reliant on Jesus, that is when God gave me permission to begin my teaching journey.
2024
I released my first book, “30 Day Prayer Journey” in 2024! It made it to the top ten in its category on Amazon. Thank you all who helped make that happen.
2025
In 2025, I released my second book, “Genesis.” I am in process of turning my digital studies into book form. You can see all of my studies here.

I am asked about healing all the time because of my experience with Lyme disease. Many of you, experiencing challenges of your own, have given me the honor of praying for you. I wanted to give something back, and this is where the Lord led me.

Outside
I need outdoor time. Any chance I get, I am hiking, searching for animals at Yellowstone or kayaking. And of course, taking pictures of everything I can. See my photos from my adventures.
Knitting
Knitting and reading are two of my loves on those short winter days here in Montana.
