I Love You, Mom
I am not one for gift books or mushy greeting cards. When presented with the opportunity to pre-read, “I Love You, Mom,” and join the launch team, I almost passed, but felt drawn to it. I have learned to listen to those nudges, and I joined the team.
First of all, the book is pink and if you know anything about me; you know I love pink. As I began reading, I quickly learned this was not just a gift book, but a book of hope for moms, daughters and grandmothers. It covers all stages of motherhood and helped me recall wonderful memories.
The book gave me peace in areas I have struggled as a mom. You know those days you think, “that is one they will discuss with their future therapist.” Bringing Jesus into the mom daughter equation is beautiful. The authors Blythe Daniels and her mom, Helen Brown McIntosh, offer biblical insight that brings hope into the hardest of situations.
My favorite quote from the book is, “When we look within our hearts and turn toward God, our searching is never wasted.” Don’t you love that?
The book is written into short devotions that make for a wonderful tribute to moms anytime during the year.
You can pre-order the book now and have it time for Mother’s Day.
